We have been running courses for the H&W Chamber of Commerce in a variety of Microsoft packages and also a series of private IT courses for Hydro Aluminium in Redditch. We've also won business in Bristol for training and in Runcorn for Mapics consultancy work. As part of the MDDI scheme John is doing work for a client in Liverpool which seeks to assist MD's in SME's with their training needs.

I completed my Cotswold Way walk on Sunday 4th July in Bath at 3pm. For those of you following progress on this site you will have read that the weather was kind to me, I met some great people at the B&B's I stayed at and also on the walk.Highlights for me were the first days walk with Graham from Chipping Campden to Winchcombe, Mid week walk with Caroline from Painswick to Kings Stanley (a nice short one!!), the walk over Long Cam Down nr Dursley, the meeting up with 2 walkers for my last two days, seeing Di every other day and Naomi at Bath. I was surprised by the amount of woodland walks (about one third) and the steepness of some of the climbs. It was however a really great week. I'm now collecting in the sponsor money and am expecting to raise around £500 for Macmillan Cancer relief.

Recently completed a Data extraction exercise for a software company operating with a large finance house in Sussex. This involved analysing the AS400 database and writing queries and programs to effect a transfer to their SQL package.

We are continuing working with an IMI subsidiary in Bristol enhancing their use of Mapics XA on the iSeries AS/400. They are using a variety of Mapics modules including Accounting Management, Purchasing and COM. We conduct training courses for them and are fully integrated with their IT dept. to assist with problem solving and project implementation.

We were involved with the successful 'going live' of a new Mapics XA site in Leicester. My involvement included planning, training, writing of some simple update programs and handholding in the early days.
The site was one of our early customers when I started up our business and it was good to see them change over to the Mapics system which the rest of the IMI Cornelius group are using.
