"Having taken 3 Excel courses with John (Intermediate, Advanced plus a tailor made half day course on formulas) I would most definitely recommend JPL training courses to others. John's courses are nicely paced, with really useful training notes provided, which can be used for future reference. Complex functions were explained clearly and in easy to understand terms, which was essential, especially for the Advanced course! Unfortunately, I didn't choose to do the Basic course, thinking that my basic knowledge was sufficient for me to start at Intermediate level. However, if I were recommending this to a friend / colleague of similar ability to myself, I would suggest they undertook the Basic course as well. I think I missed out on some essential basics, but John kindly put together a special formulas course to fill in the gaps." |
