Stanbrook Abbey Chamber Networking Event – JPL go civilised!

News on our visit to Stanbrook Abbey for a Chamber of Commerce Networking Event

Dianne and myself had a wonderful time at a H&W Chamber of Commerce networking event recently at Stanbrook Abbey in the heart of Worcestershire. It was made all the more special as it revolved around a traditional afternoon tea of sandwiches, scones and lashings of tea.

John has delivered Microsoft Office courses on behalf of the Chamber for over 20 years and we’ve been a member for just as long. They always put on a great show and thanks for Yasmin and Meg for the hospitality. What a lovely way to spend a few hours on a Friday afternoon!

Here are a few pictures of the Abbey which until 10 years ago was owned and run by the nuns of the convent. It is now a hotel with space for weddings and receptions of all kinds. Have you seen our recent hints and tips that we have put up recently? Take a look here if not.

Our news post has also been featured on the HW Chamber news website and you can find it here!

I hope you have all had good starts to the week despite the interesting weather we seem to be having!

John
