United Christian Broadcasters is a Christian media charity that exists to offer every person, in every place, every moment of the day, the opportunity to hear, watch or read the Word of God in a relevant and engaging way.

They do this through radio (UCB1 and UCB2 on DAB+), UCB Player and publications including the daily devotional UCB Word for Today. UCB also has the UCB Prayerline, staffed by volunteers who take up to 90,000 calls each year from people who need prayer and the Kingdom Academy, whose aim is to uniquely and practically equip the Church for Growth in a 21st century digital age.

How we help UCB

JPL IT Training Limited has been working alongside the staff at UCB since 2009 and have thoroughly enjoyed all the training that they have carried out up to this date and look forward to the training that will be carried out in the future. Training has been carried out for the staff at their sites situated in Stoke-on-Trent.

Initially delivering PowerPoint training, staff have since benefitted from all aspects of Microsoft training, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Publisher and Project. John and Rachel both come to UCB several times a year to deliver training, which is always professional and well planned, as well as the trainers being thorough and patient!

VSMPO Tirus UK Ltd was established to service the UK’s aerospace, medical, and other general engineering markets with titanium products. They support long term contracts, as well as spot market customers from a wide product range held in the facilities based in Redditch. They offer cutting, machining and other added value services to the benefit of their customers’ needs.

Redwing Solutions Ltd specialises in HR for Early Years’, assisting Day Nurseries, Pre-schools and Out of School Clubs. It started in 2004 when Imogen Edmunds decided she’d had enough of the corporate world and wanted to build her own independent HR consultancy business. After looking through a RSPB Handbook she discovered the Redwing bird and Redwing Solutions was born.

Yesterday 10 of ISO QSL team members had the honour to attend an Excel training day at Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce at Severn House in Worcester.

John Legge has been an absolute dream of a trainer and made it so engaging that we didn’t even notice how the evening came! Safe to say that we now know all about Fn button (and yes, we love it) and Control + Strange Button! Most of us had a very basic knowledge of Excel and we have definitely gained an in-depth knowledge and learned a lot that we haven’t known before!
