The Microsoft Office courses that we offer are listed below. Most of the courses for these packages are offered at varying levels with the agendas laid out here on our website:

  • Excel
  • Word
  • Access
  • PowerPoint
  • Publisher
  • Outlook
  • Project

We regularly post hints and tips to complement our Excel training, as well as other packages, and these can be found on https://www.jplcomputer.co.uk/hints-and-tips/

We offer training courses on our site in Redditch but deliver most of courses on client’s sites. For Excel training alone we have trained over 400 people on courses ranging from individual training to groups of 10. Customer’s receive a set of course notes, exercises to complete during and after the course and a certificate upon completion. Our accreditations include being a member of the British Computer Society and having reached the PTLLS status for adult learning.

As well as carrying out standard course training, we have carried out bespoke training for a number of customers over the years. A popular package that customers like to have a bespoke training course created for is Excel. Bespoke training courses allow the course notes to be tailored around the existing knowledge of the staff that would be attending. We can adapt the training to include a client’s own data files as well as tailor our existing content across courses to suit them.

Some comments from recent clients include:

“Everything was explained at a great pace and the group moved through the day together. Best part of the course: formula and sorting”.

“Best part of the course: really like being able to focus on the screen and not follow presentation/notes. John’s delivery was absolutely brilliant and managed to pitch the course at a level that was accessible to everyone in the group. He used clear instructions and went at a good pace”.

“Explains clearly & step by step. Very well supported with the notes for reference. Best part of the course: that it was interactive and that the skills are something I can go and use instantly”.

“Was really informative and will save hours on simple tasks. Best part of the course: simple changes to make life easier, e.g. F11 and A-Z”.

“Wished this was done long ago! Best part of the course: learning various symbols”.
