“Here at JPL we are now carrying out training sessions both remotely and also on site. We are able to carry out training on a customers site if they have sufficient measure in place for the training to happen safely for all involved. We ourselves have measure in place to ensure the safety of our customers and trainers.

If you would like on site training that can be arranged, however if you would still prefer remote training that is also fine as we will be continuing to offer both into the future. Depending on your training requirements you are able to choose to have your training carried out on site or remotely, will accommodate both. 

From this point onward, JPL is able to train either remotely or onsite and we currently do not see this changing with current and future guidelines”

Training Sessions

These sessions cover a number of Microsoft Office topics/areas. They can be an alternative for those who cannot physically get to a course with us. Or if there is a topic you need to know about and can’t wait to attend a course, a remote training session could be the answer. It would just cover the topic you need to help you carry on working until you can attend the full course later on. In particular we see these working well for Excel, Word and PowerPoint topics. These sessions are an additional service on offer to go alongside our current courses.

You can book a 1 or 2 hour session for yourself or for members of your team. Please get in touch for more details, pricing and booking. We are quite flexible on this.

Also we plan to host some ‘public sessions’ where we pick a topic to cover for an hour. There will then be spaces available on them for you to book on to. If you would be interested in knowing more about these, then please do get in touch.

We have already carried out several of these sessions and have had great feedback so far. All those who have had sessions have commented on how it will help them with their work until they can learn more later.

Virtual Basic Excel Training Course

The objective of this basic Excel course is to allow the trainee to be able to build and edit individual worksheets through learning formatting skills of cells and columns.

Virtual Intermediate Excel Training Course

The objective of this course is to equip the trainee with the knowledge of regularly used features in business. Some of the features covered are creating Charts, Sub Totalling, Sorting and Filtering.

Virtual Advanced Excel Training Course

The objective of this course is to equip the attendee with understanding of more complex Excel features. Some features included are the creation of complex charts, text and logical functions, advanced filtering and the analysis of unique lists.

Virtual Basic Word Training Course

The aim of this course is to equip the trainee with the knowledge of how to lay out a document in Word, gain skills in text alignment and how to select words, sentences and paragraphs.

Virtual Intermediate Word Training Course

The objective of this virtual course is to equip the attendee to develop an understanding of more in depth features in Word. Some of the features covered include introducing sorts and formulas into Tables, formatting objects and creating a simple macro in Word.

Virtual Advanced Word Training Course

The objective of this virtual course is to allow the attendee to develop a deeper understanding of Word functions. Some features that are covered are auto numbering, styles, bibliographies and citations.

Virtual Basic PowerPoint Training Course

The objective of this course is to equip the trainee with the skills to be able to create a simple slide show presentation. This will done through the use of a master slide layout and also using some design templates.

The objective of this course is to equip the trainee to develop a deeper understanding of more complex aspects of PowerPoint. This includes looking at the more complex custom animation options of exit and motion paths.
