Basic Access Day 2 Training Course

Our Basic Access Day 2 training course can be carried out in all versions of Microsoft.

All of our Microsoft Access training courses are full day courses, typically running from 9:30am to 4pm with two coffee breaks and a lunch break throughout to break up the course. Timings can be slightly flexible though to fit in with your needs. We can also bespoke the content alongside the first day course content to make it a 1 day course, just with less content on each of the topics. Just ask, we’d be happy to help.

Course Objectives

The objective of this Microsoft Access training course is to enable the trainee to use Forms design and to create macros and reports from an existing database. It complements the first day of our 2 day basic Access day courses and is best followed on from attending that course as it will give a good all round knowledge of Access for attendees to create and use their own databases.

FAQs

Does the training cover the latest Microsoft Office 365 updates?
Yes it does. The content of our Access training courses transfers across and is compatible with any future updates of Microsoft 365. We also regularly review all of our Access 365 training courses to ensure any new features and tools are not missed out.

How is the Basic Access Day 2 training course structured?
Our Access training is split up into a 2 day course. The second day covers how to create forms and reports from a database that has been created. This builds on and complements knowledge learnt on the day 1 course. There are 2 short breaks, one mid morning and one mid afternoon, and lunch break planned in to break up the whole day course.

How do I know if this is the right level course for my Access training needs?
Day 2 is the complementary course to our day 1 Access course. You will need to have the knowledge of how to create databases from the day 1 course, before you can attend and complete this day 2 course. Day 1 is a pre-requisite for this course as you need the knowledge of how to create a database before you can create forms and reports from a database.

How can Microsoft Access training benefit my business?
Access can be the package that is the answer to a businesses problem. It is often used to create a database to hold data in it and then producing reports and forms from that data. It isn’t always a package easy to pick up with no existing training in it, so a course on it will benefit any member of staff greatly. It can strengthen confidence and ability in creating and using these databases as well as developing existing data analysis skills further, helping your business stand out in any industry.

We wanted to share a quick note and let you know that you did a really good job on giving us the training that we need for Excel and PowerPoint.

As we all know these both are big topics which suit every company differently. We cannot thank you enough for taking the time to tailor this course to our needs.

John is an excellent trainer and very generous with his tips. We were also very impressed by the excellent and efficient before and after communication in between us.

The whole team benefitted greatly from the day. We are looking forward booking more courses provided by you.

Move With Us testimonial – helping train staff in Excel

I had a workshop session with John on a survey report that was taking a considerable amount of time to complete. John explained to us that if we changed how we were initially setting out the data that the production of reports and pivot tables would be much quicker.

The Excel training we had over the course of the next two days was fantastic. John managed to keep us all focussed, he is a very engaging trainer. We were all eager to get back to our desks and start implementing what we’d learnt to make our report running much more efficient.
